Artwork Statement ：

《welcome to being gay 》is a work that is raw, provocative, and stares directly into the eyes of homophobia.
I deliberately use sexuality as a language — because queer bodies and desires have never been neutral.
They have been suppressed, shamed, and disciplined for far too long.

We’ve been taught to ask for respect through gentleness, logic, and acceptability.
But I choose absurdity and discomfort as my response — to resist the moral expectation of being likable.

This piece is not here to please you.
It is erotic, explicit, unapologetically honest.
If it makes you uncomfortable, it's because you’ve grown too used to docile resistance.

I am not docile.
I am not asking for your understanding.
If you feel offended — that’s exactly the point.
